Our office is here – even during COV-ID 19

No virus will get in the way of serving our clients!

Currently we are living in some strange times indeed.

At St. Thomas Legal our main focus is always serving our clients — even during times of pandemics. We want to keep our clients informed not only on the status of his/her case but also the status of the courts and their updated policies and procedures. Please know we are still here.

As of today, March 23rd, the Supreme Court of Missouri has extended their original order suspending most in person Court appearances through April 17th. The Courts do allow certain emergency hearings to take place but most matters will be delayed and continued.

What does that mean for you? That means if you have a court date scheduled from now until then, unfortunately, this means it will be rescheduled. There are certain matters that can still be submitted.

What does that mean if you have an emergency? Please contact our office and we will talk through our options to handle this matter with the Court or opposing party.

What do I do until then? Stay in contact with us! We continue to be here for you.

What do I do with custody? Our office posted some thoughts on our Facebook page (good time to like & share that page if you have not already), but the general answer is that visitation should continue as planned with reasonable exception. Again, contact us with questions please.

What about appointments? Email will continue to be the easiest and quickest point on contact. We will still be available by phone but please be patient as we are limiting our in office appointments due to Executive Orders and CDC guidelines.  Just like you, we want to be smart and be safe for our families. We also want to offer virtual appointments for signing documents or just giving you the comfort of face-to-face appointments. This will be offer through Zoom in order to continue to meet your needs.

These are strange times for all of us. But there is nothing we- as a nation, we- as a community and we- as a team cannot get through together. We will continue to keep you updated and continue to keep you and your family in our prayers.

Remember… Pray, hope and don’t worry- just call us.  314-623-1693
