Saint-Thomas-Legal-Served-With-Papers

You’ve been served with papers…now what?

by: Julie Lassiter, Office Manager St. Thomas Legal

Have you been served? Here are a few things to consider.

After being served with many papers with lots of details and instructions, one can be overwhelmed by the ideas, accusations, requests and just overall paperwork… One common mistake we see clients make in the midst of that confusion is to think they have to do everything on their own, just to save money.
Maybe it’s easier said than done, but this is important: do not be so focused on saving money that you ignore your right to have an attorney represent you, your needs and the needs of your family.

Yes, attorneys do cost money. But hiring the right attorney can make a huge difference in you truly understanding of what you are able to do, ask for, or simply walk through the process.

The attorney with St. Thomas Legal, Peter Lassiter, is not afraid to help clients help themselves. Yes, he has a business to run, but his focus is and has always been on bringing the best representation for clients or potential client even if that means they do not hire him.

Our office does offer a free consultation. No legal advise will be given at that time as that would be a violation of the law; however, guidance and direction are the first steps in getting the legal matter resolved.

Call today so this office can assist and help with whatever pending or currently filed case you may have 314-623-1693. Email julie@stthomaslegal.com to schedule your meeting!
